Since 1994 on faculty of Technology and Economics the preparation of the students on a speciality "Technology and business"(TaB) with assignment to the graduates of qualification "the Teacher of technology and business" is conducted. According to needs of region within the framework of the basic speciality "Technology and the business" at faculty since 1997 is conducted preparation on additional specialities - "Decorative and applied art and national crafts" (DAA) and "Economy".

For last five years at faculty also are open a speciality "Fine art and plotting"(ARTaP) and specialization "Information systems in business"(ISB), "Applied economy"(ПЭ) , "Designing and modeling of clothes"(DMC)

Since 2002 the reception on specialization "business foreign (English) language in vocational training" (BFVT) opens.

The Preparation of the experts is conducted on day time and correspondence forms of training. The reception on each of them makes 75 men, usual competition - more than three men on a place. The reception of the students with the full indemnification of expenses by training is annually increased.

The Graduates of average special educational institutions, the trainees on coordinated with FTE NSPU to the plans, have an opportunity to receive maximum education on a speciality "Technology and business" with specialization "Information systems in business and business" in the reduced terms - 3 years on day time and 4 years on correspondence branch. The contracts on realization of this program are made with six colleges and technical schools of Nizhni Novgorod (polytechnical, auto mechanical, air, motor transportation, building, river school) and by an auto motor Zavozhe's technical school.

Since 1998 under the contract with department of education and science of administration of the Nizhniy Novgorod area the target set not only on day time, but also on correspondence branch is conducted. Since 2000 the target directions receive as the educational foremen of professional Liceums, schools and colleges, and best graduates of these educational institutions. The target set promotes the decision of a personnel problem in the specified educational institutions of city and area, complete set of their teaching structure, increase of a professional level of the teachers and foremen of industrial training.

University education on FTE provides also studying of disciplines of humanitarian and psychological blocks: world art culture, philology, foreign language, a history of world civilizations, psychology and pedagogics (including correctional).

Training to computer technologies is carried out on the computer such as Pentium II, Pentium III with use of software packages: Microsoft Office, Corel DRAW, Auto CAD, 3D Studio MAX and others.

The young men training on day time branch FTE (5 years), have an opportunity to receive on military chair NSPU qualification THE MILITARY PSYCHOLOGIST.

SCIENTIFIC WORK

The scientific work at faculty is conducted on two directions: durability and plasticity of firm bodies and pedagogical technologies of preparation of the experts of an engineering and economic structure. Within the framework of the first direction the scientific interests of the teachers are directed on the decision of problems of durability and designing of high-speed courts (B.S.Perelman, A.A.Hlybov); development of methods of hardening (S.M.Shevchenko, N.V.Fedotova, T.A.Gorshkova) system engineering of automation of designing (N.O.Ryabina), use of methods of the not destroying control for an estimation of durability of designs (A.A.Hlybov, V.A.Grishin); On the second direction - on the decision of such problems, as development of technical thinking of the students in conditions of pedagogical high school (M.V.Muhina), formation of economic and enterprise culture of the future teachers (O.V.Popova, N.V.Shadrina), development and introduction of active methods of training (all teachers); the theory and technique of teaching of graphic disciplines (V.A.Grishin).

Since 1996 at faculty the scientific - practical seminars devoted to problems of perfection of educational process, activization of scientific work of the students (subjects of the carried out seminars will annually be carried out): "Experience of continuous education"(1996), "Degree designing at faculty of technology and economics"(1997), "Problems of training of the students FTE, specializing on decorative - applied art and national crafts" (1998)., "Management of educational activity of the students: problems and prospects"(1999.), "Formation personality and professional culture of the student of faculty of technology and economics" (2000).

Only for last three years the teachers and employees FTE publish more 100 scientific works, including 20 methodical recommendations and grants; 5 patents are received; 3 grants (senior lecturer V.V.Glebov) on performance of scientific works in the field of power and electrical engineers.

The teachers FTE annually take part in regional, republican and international conferences.

On FTE the student's scientific conferences, competitions of student's research works will regularly be carried out. Since the first year of training the teachers aspire to involve the students in research work, offering them various subjects of accessible abstract works in the subjects or works of the mixed character. The subjects of abstract works, carried out by the students, is rather various - for example: "the Computer and music", "a Stretching and compression in designs", "Creativity Esher's and theory of superficial connection", "Use of the natural decisions in architecture", "Processing of metals by pressure", "Orthogonal painting of Ancient Egypt", "What such holography?", "Application of the laser in medicine" etc.

The best abstract and degree works of the students are marked by the letters NSPU and are recommended for participation in urban and regional competitions of scientific student's works, where they, as a rule, win prize-winning places.

One of the purposes of educational system on FTE, on our sight, is the creation of an atmosphere of constant search by the students of points of the appendix for creative technological potential, atmosphere of work and beauty. A creative component FTE with opening at faculty of a DAA-speciality, with arrival of the graduates of art schools and schools considerably has increased. HISTORY OF THE FACULTY

In April, 1984 at the Nizhniy Novgorod state pedagogical university on the basis of two faculties of physical faculty the faculty of technology and economy (till November 1994г. - industrial pedagogical) (FTE) was formed, by the initiator of which creation was the doctor of engineering science, professor I.E.Kurov.

Initially at faculty prepared the teachers of general technical disciplines, thus the significant attention in their preparation was given to formation of skills and skills on processing constructional materials, purchase of the working categories, combination of educational process to productive work. The necessity of creation of faculty was dictated by need of schools and average technical training colleges of area in the experts of the given structure. Structure of faculty included two faculties of technology of machines and general technical disciplines (GTD). Two faculties - theory and technique of labour training (TTLT, May 1991) both technical diagrams and decorative - applied creativity (TD and DAC, May 1995.) were formed later.

During formation of faculty it was headed by the senior lecturer M.I.Gurevich, nowadays professor of the Nizhniy Novgorod institute of development of education. Since 1996 on a post of the dean is elected the senior lecturer S.M.Shevchenko.

The assistants of the dean on organization of educational process on day time branch in the different periods were A.I.Smirnov, V.V.Zhilina, S.M.Shevchenko, since 1996 till the present time - E.A.Sazonova. Last two years the assistant of the dean on educational work is T.A.Gorshkova.

From the moment of education on FTE the reliable assistants of the dean work: N.I.Moiseeva, exellenter of national education answering for organization and coordination of educational process on correspondence branch, perfect expert, requiring and responsible man, and L.I.Nazarova - initiative, qualified worker on conducting educational process on day time branch.

Since 1959 conducts preparation of the teachers of technology (then teachers of work and general technical disciplines) talented teacher V.M.Silantev - master of organization, for a long time and successfully combining pedagogical activity with a management of trade-union committee NSPU. Many generations of the graduates with gratitude recollect also educational foreman N.P.Loseva's, continuing and now to work on FTE, and working here before senior lecturers. It M.S.Kalachev, D.G.Krylov, P.M.Vysheslavcev, P.M.Grigorev.

THE ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INFORMATION

For 17 years the faculty has replaced the name, there was some reorganization of chairs, but high professionalism and fidelity to business were always inherent in teaching and study-auxiliary structure.

For years of existence of faculty it is issued more than 3000 experts, many of which worked and work in educational establishments of Nizhni Novgorod, area, other regions of Russia - schools, high schools, establishments of additional education (the Regional centre of labour preparation of schoolboys, Houses and the Centres of creativity etc.), administrations of a different level. Among them there are honours pupils of the education, the deserved teachers, teachers of the maximum category (E.S.Golovanov, L.I.Shevchuk, O.V.Kuzmina, V.A.Strekalov etc.); senior lecturers, candidates of pedagogical and economic sciences (V.G.Solovev, N.A.Demin, N.Y.Barmin etc.). Many graduates have found the calling in industrial sphere, advertising activity, in sphere of business and business; the graduates who have received an additional speciality "Arts and crafts", - in creative and restoration workshops.

Some graduates work at faculty is A.Y.Tuzhilkin, T.A.Fokina, O.V.Popova, M.V.Muhina, N.V.Shadrina, D.R.Rakhmankulova. They are engaged in scientific work, being trained in internal or in absentia postgraduate study or being competitors.

The faculty is proud of scientific and creative potential of the employees. For example the senior lecturer B.S.Perelman, the author more than 50 patents and the inventions, the known expert in Russia in the field of the resistance of materials awarded for the significant contribution to a science with medals and an award of Friendship of peoples; the senior lecturer P.M.Grigorev (nowadays the pensioner), one of authors of the known textbook in the country on technology of constructional materials. Are adequately submitted at faculty and teachers arts and crafts and the fine arts are participants of some personal and international exhibitions, members of the Union of artists of the Russian Federation: the painter A.G.Inyutin, ceramist N.A.Kostrova, the expert on Batics and to a Gobelin tapestry G.A.Gruzdeva.

Since 2000 the faculty takes part in the organization and realization of regional Olympiad of schoolboys on technology; since 1999 - in realization of regional and republican competitions on лозоплетению, the initiator and which direct organizer is the teacher of the maximum category V.I.Plakidin, working on faculty as a pluralist.

FTE has contracts with school № 1 of the Nizhniy Novgorod's area Pavlovo, with schools № 117 154, 176, etc. Nizhni Novgorod according to which the faculty appears the methodical help to teachers of schools, there is an exchange of experience, passage of student teaching of students is organized.

At faculty in 1997 the laboratory of computer technologies that has allowed to put new training courses (such, as computer the diagram, art - technical modelling, systems of the automated processing of the technical information, internet technologies is created etc.), to expand use of computer Science and Computer facilities in educational process (at realization of special courses, laboratory lessons on disciplines of the subject block) to develop supervising tests on technology of constructional materials, theories of mechanisms and machines, the heating engineer.

For lessons on a speciality "Arts and crafts and the fine Arts" are available workshops on figure and painting, on art processing ceramics, a tree, a fabric and weaving of a rod.

The faculty has also laboratories of cutting of materials, technologies of materials, a study of plotting, the educational workshops including joiner's, metalwork and turning sites. Students study the device and operation of the automobile in this connection on FTE there is an autolaboratory that has allowed faculty to organize the rates "Automaster" which are included in the three of the best rates of city on preparation of drivers of a category "B" and first in the city of the Ministry of Education which has received the license of the Russian Federation on the right of conducting of the given vocational training. Rates are headed by the senior teacher I.A.Grigoreva - the talented teacher and the organizer.

At realization of lessons means of training - videofilms, films, slides, codes - diagrams are widely used. Attraction to lessons on bases of enterprise activity of experts - practical mans (for example, the director of advertising agency "SIMPL" A.A.Koval, the chief of an analytical department of advertising studio "York" O.A.Belkin) practises.

The faculty can under the right be proud of sanguineous life of the pupils in walls NSPU which is not limited to educational activity. Students FTE conduct the big work in sphere of additional education of schoolboys, participate in spent in NSPU sports meets and Olympiads, borrowing prize-winning places in competitions on basketball, track and field athletics etc., in amateur performances, have a faculty team of Club Cheerful and Resourceful, organize holidays of faculty - such, as Day of the first-year student, Last bell, Day of faculty etc. The students specializing on DAA, show the creativity on permanent in NSPU to an exhibition of art - graphic works, participate in annual inter-regional festival of ceramics "the Beauty which has been given birth on fire ", in various actions of city and area (in review - competition of sculptural compositions "the Virtual reality ", spent by the Nizhniy Novgorod telechannel "Dialogue", in work of a school - seminar "the Leader of XXI century ", all-Russian public organization organized by the Nizhniy Novgorod regional branch "Youth unity ").

Three-year contact of faculty to educational theatre of the Nizhniy Novgorod theatrical school is interesting, allowing students FTE to be the first spectators of all premieres of this unique theatre.
