Chair of the theory and methodics of training to mathematics

The sources chair of the theory and technique of training to mathematics had large scientific, professor Victor Vasilevich Repev (1893-1979), brought in significant contribution in formation and development of a methodical science in our country. Under a management V.V.Repev's of a beginning to work school methodists- mathematics uniting not only teachers of pedagogical institute, but also best teachers of mathematics of city and area. Directly chair of a technique of teaching of mathematics was created in 1966 and first by the head within three years was und First by the head within three years was Victor Vasilevich.

In 1969 the relay race of the head of chair was accepted by he schoolboy V.V.Repeva — the senior lecturer, and then professor Gennady Petrovich Sennikov (1915). Under his management on chair there was an amicable collective of the teachers, mutually requiring to each other and to the students responsible, creatively working on problems of perfection of a technique of teaching of mathematics. Since 1990 chair the senior lecturer, nowadays professor Tamara Alekseevna Ivanova — the schoolgirl V.V. Repeva and G.P. Sennikova manages. Protection of the doctor's dissertations: T.A.Ivanova's in 1998 on a problem "Theoretical bases of hunanitarization mathematical education" and E.N.Perevoshikova's in 2000 on a problem "Formation of diagnostic activity at the future teachers of mathematics". The contents of the dissertations is reflected in the appropriate monographies;

the edition of the manual "Bases of technology of developing training to mathematics" (authors T.A.Ivanova, T.P.Grigoreva, L.I.Kuznecova, E.N.Perevoshikova);

the realization of a federal scientific - methodical conference "Mathematical education: traditions and modernity" (1997 г.);
opening post-graduate study under a scientific management T.A.Ivanova's (1995).

Chair supports wide scientific communications with the scientists of Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Saransk, Omsk, Yaroslavl, Kirov, Tobolsk, the Arzamas etc. Annually teachers and post-graduate students of faculty act at conferences of a different level. So, at the international conferences acted: T.P.Grigoreva (International Association "Developing training", Moscow, 1999); T.A.Ivanova ("Pedagogics as a science and as an educational subject", Tula, 2000); E.N.Perevoshikova ("School mathematical education on a threshold XXI of century", Samara, 1999) etc.

Chair represents itself as conducting at protection of the doctor's and candidate dissertations, gives numerous responses on the auto abstracts, T.A.Ivanova represents itself as the official opponent. She is the member councils of dissertational on protection of the dissertations on competition of a scientific degree of the doctor of sciences at the Mordovian state pedagogical institute and on competition of a scientific degree of the candidate of sciences at the Nizhniy Novgorod state pedagogical university.

Chair conducts large educational- methodical work. Now on faculty the following educational disciplines are put: theoretical bases of training to mathematics; a technique of training to mathematics; elementary mathematics with a practical work under the decision of tasks; organization of out-of-class work on mathematics; srecial rate on various problems of modern mathematical education. The conducting teachers chair are: the prof. Ivanova T.A., prof. Perevoshikova E.N., senior lecturer Kuznecova L.I., senior lecturer Grigoreva T.P.Their lectures cause constant interest of the students and young teachers by chair.

All aspects of activity of faculty are continuously connected to schools, with educational bodies: the conducting teachers combined long time work as the teacher of mathematics with work at university, and now regularly work with the teachers of schools (will carry out scientifically methodical seminars open lessons, read lectures on modern problems of mathematical education).
